Food is normally made fresh, just takes forever to get your food
Employe came to car for my order because speaker was fuzzy or I wasn't talking loud enough. Very nice. Wanted to be sure she got my order correct. Always happy at HAPPY HOUR. HOT DOGS pictures posted made me hungry. Good advertising. I got them for family for supper!
Wewoka Sonic does have great food, and some nice workers as well. I have no problem with anyone who works at a Sonic Drive in. However, I don't find their management to be handled very well. I've been a carhop at this establishment for about one month now, that was until today of course. You see, two days ago I was informed that a very close family friend had died, and that the funeral (which was yesterday) was going on the next day. So I tried to call in and let them know what was going on. The manager told me I had to find my own replacement. Now, I can understand if a restaurant is busy, really, it happens to anyone. But the manager here had done this many other times to other people on short notice. It isn't always supposed to be the employee to find their replacement during an emergency or a family matter. In fact, they still made you come in if you were sick and couldn't find a replacement. And that's a big disappointment. I don't know how many others have had to deal with this issue, but for me it has become quite clear that the manager somewhat mistreats their employees. Hell, I can't even say I'm upset about being fired because I was barely getting things done during the day or had time to finish important work or chores at home over the weekend since they had kicked up my hours so much. I don't know about anyone else, but I cannot function on only five to six hours of sleep. That could be something to do with me, maybe I'm not cut out for working and doing school? Who knows. Right? Regardless, you shouldn't fire someone over them not being able to come because they were mourning over a loved one and couldn't even find a replacement. Also, I was late to the funeral, so thanks, wewoka Sonic.
horrible service!! it's possible to stop here and wait 20 minutes for a cup of ice and a large drink. I've had to wait almost 45 minutes for a big order.
My son got this from the library. He was SO excited to use it! Wewoka Sonic doesn't accept these, which is crazy, why would Sonic give these to the library to give out?!?!? Ugh! Of course i brought him one but Sonic took the excitement out of his reward for reading!
